In celebration of National Bat Week I'll be releasing a handful of original bat illustrations; all miniature artwork in tiny frames.
A portion of the proceeds of each sale will go toward bat conservation efforts.
Bat no.5 is a Spotted bat.
The original artwork was completed with watercolor, pencil, and chalk pastel.
It measures 2.5x3" and is in a tabletop frame that can also hang.
Shipped with insurance and tracking.
Sorry; international shipping is not currently available on original artwork.
Spotted bats are a species within the vesper bat family, and are said to have the largest ears of all North American species. They've got white spots on black fur, wingspans measuring up to 13.5 inches, and can be found throughout certain landscapes within Arizona, California, Colorado, Utah, and British Columbia, Canada.
